Leather goods:
Leather is a natural product. Therefore pigmented moles as well as scars, slight unnevenness and changes of colouring especially due to exposure to sunlight are possible and do not result in a guarantee case.
Treatment of Saddles:
All Barefoot Saddles are made of either openpored Nubuck leather or softleather which makes them so supple. This allows smooth adjustments to the horseback and still offers enough stability and comfort to the rider combined with great quality. |

To take care of open pored leather please DO NOT USE ANY OILS OR WAX AS THEY MAY CLOG THE OPEN PORES! We recommend using our Barefoot Leather Cleanser in addition to the Barefoot Leathercreme. This range of care products has been invented especially for all types of open pored leather, as it doesn’t weigh it down and lets it breath. Even closed-cell leathers may be treated with them though.
Care of Asseccories:
All accessories which are made from leather such as girths, fender, stirrup leather, bridles) can also be cleaned and afterwards treated with Barefoot Cleaner and Crème.
Before they are shipped all leather goods are checked for quality and impregnated. Keep in mind that leather can change with time. Therefore always undertake some pre-ride-checks before every ride, such as leather, metal parts and stitches, especially along stirrup leathers, girth leathers, stirrup attachment – and don’t use the article in case of a blemish.
Care for Barefoot Saddlepads:
Our saddlepads can be washed in the machine at 30 ° C. The inlays can remain tin the pads for washing. If the Physiopad is just slightly dirty, simply wipe it off with a wet sponge and a mild detergent to remove dust, debris and hair. The fur lining can be brushed with a smooth brush in order to loosen up bonded strands of hair.
