Hessian warmblood mare with sensitive back
When I was looking for a new saddle, the search became quite difficult because my Hessian warmblood mare had a sensitive back due to degenerative changes along her thoracic vertebrae and a scoliosis. I quickly realized that no saddle with tree would work. I chose the Cheyenne and never regretted it. In 2006 I rode 450 km from the Eifel into the French Alsace. It took well three weeks. We were on the way with three horses and 4 dogs. Due to health reasons my mare was used as hand pony and I rode my warmblood mix. When the picture was taken, we had already been on tour for six hours that day. My butt never hurt during that ride and I have gotten used to this saddle so much, that I have to readjust every time I get to ride another horse with a conventional saddle. These saddles are realy great for trail riding.
Meanwhile we do more arena work again, so I have fetched myself a London for that.
Best regards, K. Jacoby
