Does the saddle slip?
Very often we are being asked whether the saddle slips.
|
Actually a Barefoot Saddle nestles up against the horse’s back within a short period of time. The large supporting area doesn’t only eliminate towering over the horse but also helps keeping the saddle in place on fairly round horses.
The inlays in front and back
pommel stabilize the saddle even more, with the front pommel being
exchangeable to fit horses with a high withers as well as those with a
broad shoulders. Due to these inlays and with the rider’s weight on
board, the saddles don’t slip. |
|
However: for the sake of the horse we still recommend to use a gitty-up help at all times!
