Horse shower
Many riders believe showering a horse is a good deed. However, the majority of horses actually tenses up under a cold shower, resulting in hardening muscles. The hose should be applied only up to the knee / hock. Even on very hot days the delicate back is supposed to be avoided. The saddle area itself can be washed down with a sponge. Ideally you should rub this area dry using a bundle of straw.

Leather Care, 200 ml
Barefoot saddles are made of nubuck or soft leather. Nubuck leather has been sanded on the grainy side which gives it its peach skin like character. Soft leather has a smooth, soft surface which is very pliable and makes you feel like you sit on a cloud.
Both leather qualities are open pore and therefore very flexible and pliable which enables the saddle to adjust to the horse’s back without compromising stability, comfort and quality.
One should not use grease or waxes to clean nubuck or soft leather as this will clog the pores of these leathers. We highly recommend our leather care products.
Conditions and nourishes all types of leather, especially open pored leather. Used regularly it protects the leather and keeps its elastic.
